About South Coast Student AHP Conference 2019

The theme of this year's conference is "Communicaton"

Communication is an essential skill for any AHP to be able to do well, and the better it is done, the more effective we are.
The aim of this year's conference is to give you skills, tools and insight into becoming more adept at communicating with your patients/service users.
We have lined up a brilliant variety of speakers, all with fantastic knowledge and we hope you leave the day feeling more confident in your skills. This conference is open to all student AHPs, from Bournemouth, Southampton and Winchester Universities.

However, his road to getting there has not been smooth. Having had two brain tumors by the age of 6, various operations, and mental health issues associated with going through such a difficult time so young, he has gone on to become an ambassador for The Brain Tumour Charity, run the London Marathon for the Lewis Moody Foundation as well as lecturing and advocating for young patients with long term health conditions.
